Austin has led the pastoral team at Venture since 2002. He preaches God’s Word with a passion for equipping the church to engage a lost world with the Gospel. Austin & Keri married in 1999 and have 3 children.

Chris Mintz
Associate Pastor: Students and Administration

Chris joined Venture’s staff in 2012. He brings a passion to lead students to follow Jesus and years of corporate and military experience that keep our day-to-day operations working. Chris and Bee have been married since 1993 and have 2 children.

Jonathan Pugh
Associate Pastor: Life Groups & Church Partnership

Jonathan joined the staff in 2016. He is responsible for growing Life Groups, discipleship and helping you get plugged into Venture. Jonathan and Jennifer have been married since 2006 and have 5 children.

Dalton Rhyne
Associate Pastor: Worship Music

Dalton leads Venture’s band and singers to make sure the music in our modern worship gatherings is Biblical, relevant, and awesome! He and his wife Hannah have 3 children.

Dan Moody-Musick

Dan manages Venture’s production team to ensure the sound, video, and lights all work to provide an outstanding worship experience. He and his wife, Chris, have a set of young triplets.

Wanda Maynor
Director: Children’s Ministry

Wanda leads a team of volunteers who put together amazing Gospel centered ministry programs for kids birth through 5th grade. She married her husband Ronnie in 1991. They have 5 kids and 1 son-in-law.

Kim Talbert-Kirk
Pastoral Counselor

Venture partners with Kim to provide low cost pastoral counseling services to the community. In addition, Kim and her husband Richard lead Venture’s addiction recovery ministry.

Terry Gregoire
Associate Pastor

Terry volunteers in many areas of ministry but primarily focuses on caring for and growing Life Groups. In his day job, Terry owns Darrell’s Garage auto repair service. He and his wife Faye have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

Richard Kirk
Associate Pastor

Richard leads Venture’s Celebrate Recovery addiction ministry and always brings an entertaining viewpoint to Sunday morning announcements. He owns Magic Cleaning Services of Charlotte and married our counselor, Kim Talbert-Kirk, in 2017.
