Refuge in Betrayal

There is nothing that hurts like betrayal! How does an actual relationship with God affect how you handle it? Join us as we study Psalm 59 and see a testimony of how David did it.

Refuge in Betrayal

David expresses the depths of the wounds of betrayal. (59:1-4)

David cries out to the Lord to protect and avenge him! (59:5-15)

David determines to find his confidence and strength not in his ability or Saul’s approval but rather in knowing and being known by God!

Challenge:

How do you handle betrayal? Do you find your strength and confidence in the sovereign God not only being the final judge and avenger of evil but also your comfort and security? Are you able to forgive and where possible and wise work towards restoration?
