Bring Your Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes by Nov 17th!
New Volunteer Dates Added:
- November 26th from 10am to 2pm
- December 11th from 6pm to 10pm
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. They provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Your gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
How to Help
Pack your shoeboxes or volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse for Operation Christmas Child 2019. Venture collects shoeboxes each Fall to send to children all over the world.
GIVE: Venture’s Operation Christmas Child campaign is in full swing. Pick up your shoebox at The Hub and bring it back by Sunday, November 17th to be delivered to the distribution center in Charlotte.
VOLUNTEER: The Charlotte area has the privilege of hosting the largest processing center in the country where the gifts are prepared for overseas shipments. Volunteers are used in almost every area of this process. Make a difference in the lives of children by volunteering with OCC. (Please see the volunteer dates above.)
