Ministry Opportunities at Venture

Venture believes being a part of your local church means getting involved. Bring your talents and we’ll put ’em to work.

Venture 101 – Start Here!

This one-session class is designed to help you learn about the Purpose, Mission, Structure and Function of Venture.

Classes are held every couple months – and a meal is provided (bonus!). Watch our Facebook page for the next one.

Anyone interested in partnering or learning more about Venture is encouraged to attend.

Venture Welcome Team

Studies show that first time guests make up their mind if they are coming back within 5 minutes of arriving in the parking lot. The Welcome Team is a vital part of Sunday mornings, so this is an awesome way to help reach people!

The Welcome Team is responsible for assisting with parking, greeting at the front doors and the auditorium doors, giving out the sermon bulletin, assisting with seating in the auditorium and helping Austin at the Guest Services area. The team works a rotation of the 2nd and 4th or 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays.

The Children’s Ministry at Venture exists to connect children to Christ. We partner with parents to grow, equip and send them out to change the world for Christ.

Ain’t no baby-sitting going on here. This is a fun, safe place where children can experience God’s Word in a relevant and meaningful way.

*All children’s ministry volunteers are required to pass a state background check.

Venture Student Ministry (VSM)

VMS mentors challenge students to have an impact for Christ on their campus. Godly adult leaders are needed for Sunday morning Bible study, Wednesday night gatherings and summer camp at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters.

Boys and Girls Club of Greater Gaston

Dallas Location meets weekdays at The Hub. They are always looking for helping hands to make a difference for the youth of our area. Duties range from serving meals, playing games, art projects, chaperoning field trips, being a mentor and many more!
