Venture’s Kidzone
A safe place to grow.The safety and security of your children are a priority at Venture. You can be confident we make every effort to provide a caring, nurturing environment for your kids to grow and learn about God.
- Every child is checked in with a numbered sticker and only released to an adult (16+) with the matching sticker.
- All children's ministry volunteers undergo a background check.
- Name badges clearly identify all Kidzone personnel.
- No adult is permitted in Kidzone without a volunteer escort.
Students
Venture Student Ministry (VSM) partners with families in challenging middle and high school students to put their faith in Christ, trust and follow Him, and engage those that don’t know Him.
VSM places a focus on the students' understanding of a personal relationship with God and the impact it can make in the world.
Students gather on Wednesday nights for food, games, fellowship, Bible study, and worship. We dive deeper into Sunday’s sermon and praise God together with the student-led worship band. Then we split into smaller groups (by gender and age) to discuss how God’s word applies to our lives.
Caring mentors* disciple our students to grow in their faith and learn influential leadership skills for leading others to follow Christ. We provide an environment where students can learn what it means to truly be a follower of Christ.

*ALL ADULT MENTORS IN OUR STUDENT AND CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES HAVE UNDERGONE A THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK.

Christian Counseling Services
At Venture, our approach to counseling is based on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to help you understand how to apply all that Christ has done for you and in you to the real life trials and struggles of your life. Our counseling approach will dive down into who you are as a person created by God, the issues that have brought you to this point and a Biblical path to victory!
Venture Counseling sessions are offered to children, teens, young adults, women, couples and families.
Kim Talbert-Kirk is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with years of experience to help you grow past the issues that are holding you back.

Venture Deaf Ministry
We offer access to our worship services and student ministries by providing ASL interpreters.
We are passionate that the Gospel is for EVERYONE and want to support those in the deaf and hard of hearing community to know and follow Christ.
Our interpreted service is every Sunday at 9:30am. You can also watch online with Facebook or YouTube. Please contact Deaf Ministries Director Kathy Loo for more information.
Kidzone
Each Sunday morning, kids travel into the Bible to discover who God is, their relationship to Him, and how to begin living a Christian life.
Lessons are taught through stories, songs, videos, recreation, and relationships with dedicated, caring teachers.

Boys and Girls Club of Greater Gaston
Venture is proud to partner with BGC of Greater Gaston to make a positive impact on the youth of our community. We provide rent-free space for the Dallas Club and mentors from our church community regularly volunteer with the club members.
